Aimee Rebecca Viljoen graduated Cum Laude from The University of Johannesburg in 2017 after completing an undergraduate and honours degree in Film and Television Studies. She is currently completing her masters degree in Audiovisual Communication at UJ.

Aimee started her production company, Aimeevfilmography in 2016 ,but she has been working in the field of film and television production since 2014. She has been working with well known names in the film and television industry, including SAFTA award winning filmmaker, Shelley Barry, and well known Afrikaans filmmaker, Linda de Jager from Endgame Media. Aimee is also a member of SWIFTSA (Sisters Working in Film and Television, South Africa).

Aimeevfilmography is a video production company that  provides cinematography and editing services for any type of video production work, including fiction, documentary,  commercial work and activist pieces. With a strong belief in equality and acceptance, Aimee strives to incorporate individuals of all races and sexual orientation in her work, with special emphasis on providing a platform for the stories of LGBT+ people and people with disability.
